Topic: DNS record changes don't appear in DNS Lookup results?
I registered my domain with another site and transferred nameservers here to use DDNS since I have a dynamic IP.Now trying to follow the guide to setup SPF/DKIM records for my email server and when I create the SPF record and check using the DNS Lookup tool, it shows TXT record from what appears to be the original record at the other site where I registered it (TTL of 300 and wrong text string.) I noticed some of the DNS records were "imported" when I switched nameservers to dynu so now I can't tell if its just stale cached data or somehow its using the other records? When I go to my account where registered it says the DNS records "don't work" since I'm not using their nameservers but the records still appear there. It seems like the update should be pretty immediate on dynu nameservers? What am I doing wrong?

So it would appear that some records are still owned by the registering site. If I change my MX and TXT records there the changes are now reflected in the DNS Lookup results here. I noticed that not all record types are available on the other site.BTW, when I do a DNS Lookup of my A-record, why does it return some other IP? Shouldn't it return my current dynamic IP as it shows in the DDNS summary for my domain which is also listed in my local A record on dynu?
