How to prepare your website for a DDoS attack?
The most cost effective way to prepare your website for a DDoS attack is to diversify your DNS portfolio.
You should have 2 or more DNS providers and sync the DNS settings.
For example, if you are currently using your web hosting provider or managed DNS service provider's name servers,
you can use our name servers as backup. There are two things that you need to do:
- Add our master DNS to your domain’s primary DNS zone file to allow transfer and notify so that DNS zones are synced up
- Add our name servers as backup name servers at your current registrar
If you are using our DNS service as primary, you may add another provider's name servers as a backup as well.
