Topic: Connecting To Another Server
Hey, I am Nisarg Shah and I use dynamic dns service to make a word ip for my teamspeak. I enter my my ip address in the ipv4 box and the port in the location box. When I connect to the word ip it connects me to a different ip address and port.I had tried doing this a few months back and it worked but now for some reason its not working.Thanks- Nisarg Shah

The location name is used to give your hostnames a group name so that the IP address of the hostnames with the same location name can be updated at the same time, and it is not used for ports. The correct way to do it is to set up port forwarding which will redirect traffic going for port 80 on the ipv4 address to the port that you have set up. we have set up port forwarding for you for prideog.dynu.com in 'web redirect' section of the control panel. Now prideog.dynu.com goes to the ipv4 address on port 10056.Please note that you need to run an IP update client software at https://www.dynu.com/en-US/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient to keep your hostname mapped to its most current IP address at all times.
